Post {DT} Tournament: 9-30-2006
Time for an all-out brawl....

When:
Saturday, September 30, 2006 at 10:00 PM -5GMT

The Set-Up:
  1. Game Type: Death Match
  2. Infinite Ammo: Off
  3. Suicide Penalty: 10 (A true warrior should be able to kill others without committing suicide in the process.)
  4. Number of Rounds: 5 Tournament, 3 Challenge rounds
  5. Timelimit: 15 minutes per round
  6. Fraglimit: Infinite
  7. ALL weapons will be available.
  8. As is the {DT} way, any kill is a legal, good kill.
  9. Maplist:
    dm/suddm2 "Trainyard: 6 to 8 players"
    dm/nycdm4 "Back Alley: 2 to 4 players"
    dm/dtsm "Death Trap: Space Madness"
    dm/dtsimpleandclean "Death Trap: Simple and Clean"
    dm/dt_alm "Death Trap: Another Little Map"

Day BEFORE the Tournament:
Accepted registrants will be sent an email containing the server password for the tournament and any other needed information.

Day of the Tournament:
I will set the Death Trap Server to Tournament mode between 9:45 and 9:55 PM -5GMT. The tournament will start at 10:00 PM -5GMT or once all players are present, whichever comes first. We will not wait for any late players and we will not wait for players to load the maps, so be sure you have the listed maps BEFORE the tournament! Stranger and I will be Spectating the tournament, awaiting the emergence of the player who shall challenge Stranger for the championship title.

To Register:
First, READ the "READ FIRST!! ::Tournament Information::" thread. It explains the rest of the tournament details.

Register by joining the usergroup {DT} Tournament {DT}

REMEMBER:
The first 12 applicants to Play will be accepted. Applicants for Spectate will only be accepted if fewer than 12 Players register, then on a "first come, first serve" basis. Oh, and be sure to Register BEFORE Saturday, September 30, 2006! Friday night will be the deadline.

Geez! I hope it won't just be Roach! Hell, at this rate, I may just have to start throwing bots into the fray. It would be REALLY sad if a bot were to ever be champ....

Or is everyone just afraid of big, bad PUFFaROACH? :twisted:

Well, if nobody else signs up, it'll end up being a "1 on 1" between Roach and Stranger for the championship. That is, of course, IF Stranger shows up to defend...... I do hope for something a little more interesting, though.

PLAY :shock: I can't let Roach win by default :-D

But can you please dump the brd_afghan_final map ? because the two players who like that map are not playing and it's just to big for 2 or 3 players to play in :?
